Fantasy Football Squad Selections
A new season of football dawns on us and we have to pick a team that is going to get us maximum points to beat the office! When it comes to picking your fantasy squat you need to take into account whether the fantasy league you are in is specific to a league like the Barclays Premier League and or the Champions Leagues too.

So if you team is in the a Barclays Premier League style Fantasy Football league only then read on!

Some names to watch out for include Darren Bent. A move from Tottenham to Sunderland is a good move for the striker as he will get regular games. The boy can score goals and will score goals. The top striker at Spurs last season Bent is usually criticised for missing easy opportunities. Put your faith in him and he will rewards you.

A few other strikers to keep an eye on is Drogba, Rooney and Defoe. All three are proven goal machines, and with Chelsea going from strength to strength he will figure heavily. With Ronaldo parting with Manchester United Rooney should take a more central role and be the main man for goals at Old Trafford this year. With Defoe coming back to White Hart Lane in amazing form fitting in a squad built for getting forward he will score when the opportunity is presented to him.

Big names in midfield of course includes Lampard and Gerrard. Both big key players in Chelsea and Liverpool, they have the ability to control the game, and will bag a lot of goals in. Arshavin, Lennon, Valencia and Muamba are also names to watch out for!

When it comes to the defensive line, a good solid centre back is always first choice. Ferdinand, Terry, and Lescot are all common favourites. The back line also needs attacking defenders too, so Cole and Johnson should rack up your points if they can create goals as well as keep a clean sheet.

You need to a select a goal keeper who is behind a strong back line, usually a keeper at one of the top clubs like Gomes, Reina and Van Dar Sar all have a strong defensive back line to help protect the initial clean sheet.
